A flint end scraper, probably dating from the Bronze Age (c. 2350 - 801 BC).
The tool is on a tertiary flake, is sub-rectangular in plan and of 'D-shaped' cross section. Several arrises extend longitudinally on the dorsal surface, and there is long, sub-parallel, abrupt retouch to the distal end. A portion of the striking platform remains, and there is a bulbar scar on the adjacent ventral surface, but no ripples. The exposed surface of the flint is white due to deposition in alkaline soil.
