A pair of copper alloy tweezers of Roman to early medieval date (c. AD 43 - 900). The tweezers consist of a single strip of copper alloy bent at the mid pint and pinched inwards slightly to create a circular suspension loop. The arms project outwards from the loop and are both curved inwards at the tip like pincers. One arm is slightly longer than the other. The tweezers have a smooth green patina.
The tweezers measure 43.31mm in length, 4.75mm in width, are 0.71mm thick and weigh 2.21g.
