Lead spindle whorl. Cast biconvex whorl of stepped profile with central moulded aperture of diameter8.4mm. Relief decoration of both sides comprises a raised ring and textured about the aperture, and a prominent circumferential rim. This relates the object to the series of decorated post-medieval whorls. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600.
