Lead possible spindle whorl fragment. Segment of a cast flat sided cylindrical whorl with a moulded central aperture of diameter c.10mm, possibly Walton Rogers form B. The object is either encrusted or more probably part melted and corroded thereafter. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 850-1000.

Diameter: 34mm, Thickness: 9.0mm, Weight: 28.21gms.
