An incomplete, cast copper alloy, single loop composite buckle with integral forked spacer, dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1350 - 1500. The frame is a rounded oval and the upper side is bevelled. There is a small, pointed knop in the centre of the outer edge. The two sheet buckle plates and the pin are missing. The buckle has a smooth, dark brown patina. It is 43.1mm long, 14.1mm wide and 3.1mm thick. It weighs 3.7gm.
