Each strip appears to have originally been of three sections of alternating coloured enamel, of which only the some of orange enamel remains. Circular boss at the junction of the bow and the leg. The ridged plain leg tapers to a foot knob. The head of the bow comprises an oval plate on the back of which is an integral horizontal cylinder which encloses the intact axis bar, a trace of the pin remains. The position of the pin is offset from the centre of the cylinder. The top of the head is stepped and with milled decoration. Only vestiges of the head loop remain. Catchplate denuded.","NB. Three pieces of flint were found on the site which have been identified as natural.","","2001-09-11 00:00:00","2011-02-24 13:14:58","3","","1","2001-09-02","","","","","","1","1","1","","","","","","nherepath","Nick Herepath","LVPL","dpett","Daniel Pett","Copper alloy","","","","Cast","Inlaid with enamel","Incomplete","Good","Certain","ROMAN","","","Metal detector","","","","Mr Nick Herepath","MERSEYSIDE","","KNOWSLEY","","","","","SJ3438","SJ48NE","","","","","","MERSEYSIDE HALEWOOD","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","10818","1935b.jpg","images/nherepath/",
