Copper alloy silvered clasp. Cast blunt-eyed hook from a hook and eye clasp, Read (2008) Class A Type 2. An oval plate with three attachment loops (one lost) and a collared curved blunt hook at one end. The two remaining loops bear small knops. Incised decoration of the plate comprises a trilobate figure with circular or curvilinear additions against a diagonally hatched ground. White metal plating remains on both sides of the object. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1700.
