A cast copper-alloy ring of Medieval date. It is annular in form, hexagonal in cross section, with extensive visible tool marks on all faces. The entire object measures 22.65mm in diameter, 2.66mm in thickness, and 3.11g in weight. This is a simple copper-alloy ring that may have performed a variety of functions from a harness fitting through curtain ring. It is likely to date to the Medieval period, c.12th-15th centureis AD.
