A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is as Meols Type C with oval frame that has an offest and narrowed rectangular bar and expanded rectangular outer edge. At the end of both sides are single vertical ribs, and the front face of the outer edge has three central transverse grooves, with single grooves at top and bottom where it joins the sides of the frame. The entire object measures 17.43mm in width, 17.02mm in length, 2.55mm in thickness, and 1.83g in weight. This buckle is of Medieval date, c.14th century AD.
