A medieval cast copper alloy buckle with a rectangular frame with a wide outer edge which has a pin seat with two grooves. The buckle has a plain tapering sheet plate with a single rivet hole at the terminal. The rivet hole now has a narrow wire loop in situ, presumably a repair. Cf. Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories nos. 434-436.
