A rim sherd from a Roman micaceous grey ware (GX) flanged bowl preserving the top of the rim and the flange. The upper surface of the flange has a double band of impressed multiple crescent shaped motifs. It measures 57.41mm in width, 22.39mm in height, 8.28mm in thickness (at rim, 18.11mm at flange), and 21.93g in weight. This sherd is from a flanged bowl of late Roman date, c.4th centruy AD and probably the latter half of the 4th century.
