A copper-alloy Medieval French King under Canopy jetton, c.1326-1380 AD. As Mitchiner, 1988: no. 400.

Obverse: AVE m-ARIA:G, Crowned king standing facing holding sceptre in right hand, beneath a gothic canopy, four trefoils in exergue.

Reverse: +-A-V-E, Triple stranded straight cross fleuretty, within a double stranded quatrefoil, flowers in each internal angle of the foil.
