Incomplete medieval gilt copper alloy oval buckle frame, almost all of the offset, narrowed bar missing. The outside edge is covered in longitudinal grooves and there is a broad pin notch. There is a massive expansion in the centre, cf. Whitehead 2003 no. 112, and Margeson, S. and Williams, V. in Ayers 1985, fig. 24 no. 7. Length 28.5mm. Width 49mm. 13th - 14th century.
