A possibly silver Post Medieval Scottish coin; a crude contemporary copy of a Twenty Pence of Charles I, third coinage, dating from AD 1637 - 1642. The coin is a pale gold colour (a brassy silver?) with a green tinge. The edge is cracked in two places. The design is crudely drawn and the lettering is blundered. It is 14.93mm diameter, 0.53mm thick, 0.51g. Compare number 5581 - 5591 of Coins of Scotland, Ireland and the Islands. A similar, but different copy is LEIC-D4B3A2
