A group of four flint flakes, forming part of a larger assemblage of lithic material (see other PAS records). Given the lack of diagnostic features, the suggested date of these pieces is Mesolithic to Bronze Age.

One of the flakes (no. 1) is a tertiary flake; the other three are secondary flakes. The level of recortification varies greatly, from virtually none (no. 6), to heavily recortified (no. 1). None of the flakes shows clear evidence of retouch, with the possible exception of no. 6, although the serrated edge on this piece may be the result of wear through use. All four pieces have clear bulbs and rippling on their ventral surfaces.

Total weight of assemblage: 26.51g.

Class: Flakes
