A Neolithic flaked axehead, the cutting edge of which has been lost in antiquity.
The narrowest part of the axe is at the pointed butt; below this, the straight sides diverge towards the point of the break. Part of the original cortex remains, and the rest of the surfaces are heavily recortified, including the break. The flaking appears to be scaled.
