A cast copper-alloy buckle plate of Medieval date. It has rectangular upper and lower plates of equal size, both of which have slightly concave sides and attachment end. The plate has rectangular frame recesses and pin slot, with two small circular rivet holes at each corner of the attachment end. At the centre of the plate towards the attachment end is a single rivet hole containing a separately cast copper-alloy rivet with flattened heads. The entire object measures 24.26mm in width, 37.03mm in length, 3.87mm in thickness, and 9.96g in weight. It is of Medieval date, c.13th-15th centuries AD.
