Copper alloy mount. Cast plate with sharply engrailed sides and rounded ends, and with a pair of integrally cast prongs projecting from the back and bent at right angles to form a discontinuous rectangular loop. The plate bears relief decoration of vegetal character flanking a rhomboid figure with central pellet. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1650.
