A base silver unit of Licinius (AD 308-24), dating to AD 309-13 (Reece Period 15), IOVI CONSERVATORI AVG, Jupiter on eagle. Mint of Trier. RIC VI, p. 224, no. 825 (the same type is also recorded by mistake in RIC VII, p. 182, no. 210).
Notes:
This base silver denomination is very uncommon. It was struck by Constantine for his colleagues Licinius and Maximinus II. This is the first specimen of Licinius recorded on the PAS database. For specimens of Maximinus II, cf. SF-6382B2
