An incomplete copper-alloy shield-shaped unidentified object of probable Medieval date.
It is triangular in section with a slightly concave back face. At the top of the object are the remains of two rectangular projections, set at an angle of 90 degrees to the plane of the object. These are possibly the remains of an attachment/suspension loop. All surfaces are undecorated.
This object measures 25.66mm in length, 20.18mm in width, 4.11mm in thickness, 9.31g in weight.
