An extremely corroded and illegible copper alloy Roman dupondius or as, probably issued by a female member of the Antonine dynasty, possibly Lucilla (AD 164-169) (Reece period 8). Reverse type uncertain, probably depicting Minerva seated left, holding a small Victory in her right hand and another uncertain attribute in left. Mint of Rome.
The detail of this coin is obscured by extreme surface abrasion, particularly on the obverse, which has obscured the bust and has made the legend illegible.
