An Iron Age copper alloy unit, probably of Tasciovanus (20-9 BC), dating 15-10 BC. The obverse is very worn so difficult to discern what it would have depicted. The reverse depicts a horse running left. Although the obverse is no longer legible, the ring and dot at the head and shoulder of the horse, as well as the crescent in the field, are common on the coins of Tasciovanus. The closest parallel is on a silver stater in Hobbs (1996, no. 1654), though the horse is facing in the opposite direction.

Dimensions: diameter: 14.82 mm; weight: 1.46g.
