A silver coin of post-medieval date. The coin is extremely worn and has been bent into a slight S shape. It may therefore have been intended as a love token.
Coins of William III were commonly converted into love tokens and this example is the right size and weight for a sixpence of William III though no detail remains to confirm this attribution.
