A fragment of a Scottish silver coin: a penny of David II (1329 - 71), second coinage, Older head (Class C), Edinburgh mint, dating from AD 1357 - 67. Approximately half of the coin remains, a large portion of the edge having broken away. The remaining portion is 17.9mm in diameter and 0.6mm thick. It weighs 0.62gm.
