A complete penny size lead uniface token of probable Post-Medieval date.
It is flat and circular in form. There is moulded decoration on the front face comprising of a series of circular pellets. The back face is flat and undecorated.
This token measures 15.37mm in diameter, 3.34g in weight.
Similar tokens are noted by Mitchiner and Skinner (1984: plates 16-22) and suggest a date range in the 16th to 18th centuries for the current example.
