Incomplete medieval sheet copper alloy object, probably the front part of a rectangular buckle plate broken before the fold, with two globular headed rivets near the inside edge. Decoration consists of lines of finely executed interrupted rocker-arm engraving giving the appearance of tiny addorsed triangles. Lines follow the sides, the inside edge and the missing outside edge. At the latter there are two lines separated by a wavy line of the same. Extant length 20.7mm. Width 27.5mm. 13th - 14th century.
