An incomplete and worn Late-Medieval to Post Medieval copper-alloy purse (Type 2A). Only the attachment loop and the central block survive, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The central block is rectangular in shape. Through this passes a circular suspension loop. This is attached to a circular integrally cast shank and a separate circular rove. This purse measures 48.44 mm in length, 26.67 mm in width at the central block, 26.50 mm in external diameter at the suspension loop, 18.96 mm in internal diameter at the suspension loop, 8.92 mm in thickness, 20.8 g in weight.
