An incomplete copper-alloy oval terret ring of Iron Age date. Only part of the hoop and bar survive, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.
The hoop is D-shaped in section and undecorated. The sides curve around to a projecting transverse oval collar. Connected to the collar are the remains of a rectangular bar. The entire object has a dark green patina.
It measures 28.24mm in length, 16.92mm in width, 8.31mm in thickness (10.74mm in thickness at collar), 13.37g in weight.
There is a similar example published from Norfolk (Hutcheson, 2004, p. 130, no. 76).
