A Medieval (1300 - 1500) copper-alloy probable belt mount, roughly trimmed to the shape of the three lobes, which rise up to the domed apex. One rivet is visible Egan & Pritchard (1991) state that such mounts were "clearly in common use by the middle of the 14th century, and they continued to be a popular line late into the next century" (p186). Shares similarities with HAMP-168C5C, LIN-DD84E9 and SF-47AA55
