A flint group B type, crescent shaped microlith of late Mesolithic date, dating from about 6500 BC - 4000 BC. The flint is a tertiary flake, being opaque, patinated and cream in colour. It is crescent-shaped in plan and triangular in section. There is short, sub-parallel, abrupt soft hammer retouch to each long edge. The flint is water worn. It is 8mm long x 3.9mm wide x 1.9mm thick. Weight 0.08g.
