An incomplete copper-alloy mount of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. It is missing part of one terminal due to old breaks, now worn.
The central panel is circular with a convex front face. To either side are the remains of rectangular terminals with central circular rivet holes. One still contains the corroded remains of a separate iron rivet. Both faces are undecorated.
This mount measures 32.48mm in length, 19.15mm in diameter, 4.43mm in height, 8.96mm in width, at the terminal, 1.70mm in thickness at the terminal, 4.14g in weight.
There is a similar example recorded on the PAS database (SUR-DB0C24).
