Incomplete, abraded and bent medieval copper alloy oval buckle frame, large trapezoidal expansion on the outside edge with slight lobe at both angles and offset, narrowed bar (missing apart from stumps). The sides are curled inward and back toward the outside edge. The expanded outside edge has traces of transverse engraved lines. Length (bent) 22mm. Width (bent) 28mm. Cf. Whitehead 2003, nos. 111-2; Margeson, S. and Williams, V. in Ayers 1985, fig. 24 no.7. 13th century.
