Post-medieval copper alloy asymmetrical double-looped buckle frame with remains of an iron pin on the bar. One loop is trapezoidal, the other D-shaped with a rib on the front face at the ends of the bar. There is a lateral projection at the junctions of the sides and edge of the D-shaped loop and at the centre of that edge a large openwork lozengiform knop with a pair of lobes at three corners. Broadly similar to Whitehead 2003, no. 593.Closer parallels are recorded from Warwickshire (WAW-D07FE3), Suffolk (SF-1BFB66, with grooves on the straight edge) and Nottinghamshire (DENO-095CD5). Length 29.5mm. Width 16mm. c.1575 - c.1700.
