A fragment of a cast copper alloy drop handle from a late medieval vessel such as a bowl or perhaps chafing dish. The handle is three-sided and has a projecting acorn-like knop at its two corners. On the surviving end of the handle is one of a pair of separate zoomorphic dog's head-like attachments which secured the handle to the fittings on the bowl.
