A copper alloy harness pendant dating to c14th century. The pendant is shield shaped in plan with a offset perforated loop extending perpendicularly from the top. The back of the pendant is smooth and slightly concave. The front of the pendant is decorated with a shield with three chevrons decorated with red (gules) enamel. Evidence of gilding remains in place.
The harness pendant 29.05mm in length, 17.4mm wide and weighs 4.69 g.
