A silver-gilt bead with fluted surface, circular-sectioned central aperture and a raised rim at either end.

Discussion:

A similar example can be found on the Portable Antiquity Scheme's database and also reported via the Treasure Act 1996: KENT-C529E2 (2004 T93).

Notes:

This find qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 in terms of both age and precious metal content.
