Medieval gilt copper alloy trapezoidal buckle plate, wider at the fold, with a pin slot, frame recesses and five rivet holes (three with rivets). There is no surviving engraved decoration, the front face being quite worn, with gilding present only around the rivet holes. Length 42.7mm. Width 21.2 - 18mm. Width of rear part (which is missing its inside edge) 15.5 - 14.3mm. 13th - 14th century.
