A cast copper alloy knife end-stop dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is oval in plan and cross-section. Each face of the object is decorated with an incised X. The top of the object is decorated with an incised star. On the base of the object is a rectangular slot where the tang of the knife attached to the end-stop. The object has a mid-brown patina with iron corrosion in the slot.
