An incomplete post medieval lead cloth seal dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1700. The cloth seal consists of two discs pressed together, missing the connecting strip. The obverse depicts a large A within an incomplete circular segmented border. The reverse features a stylised pine cones within a circular segmented border. The design on the reverse has been struck slightly off the flan. The seal originates in Augsburg. The lead is a mottled off-white-grey colour.
The seal measures 19.58mm in diameter, is 4.09mm thick and weighs 8.03g.
