A copper alloy late-Iron Age to Roman (c.300 BC-AD c.410) strap-slide. Overall, the strap-slide measures 16.3mm long, 27.4mm wide and 13.9mm thick. It weighs 9.97g. The strap slide consists of a rectangular plate with a sub-rectangular loop on the reverse. The plate is 2.8mm thick and is decorated with green enamel in a setting with two concave sides and straight ends. The strap-slide now has a browny-red patina.
