A copper-alloy medieval (AD c.1200-c.1500) mount with an integral rivet. The mount is in the shape of a slightly convex and faceted sexfoil with pointed lobes and radiating grooves defining the lobes. It has a single central integral rivet on its reverse, which is square sectioned and measures 8.6mm long and 2.5mm thick. Overall, the mount measures 21.4mm in diameter and 12.4mm thick. It weighs 3.85g.
