An incomplete copper-alloy rectangular possible buckle plate of Medieval date. Only part of the possible frame end survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.
It is flat. The frame end is recessed to accommodate the frame and has a circular pin slot. The outer edge has the remains of two V-shaped notches before terminating in old breaks. Both faces are undecorated.
This buckle plate measures 26.08mm in length, 23.54mm in width, 0.93mm in thickness, 2.97g in weight.
