A fragment of a cast copper-alloy buckle of Medieval date. It is part of the outside edge of a d-shaped frame, the rest of which is missing due to old breaks. The frame is decorated with crossed lines.
The object has not been seen by the recorder and the identification is from the photograph. Unfortunately it is not possible to obtain accurate measurements.
