A copper alloy harness pendant dating to c14th century. The pendant is circular in plan with a offset perforated loop extending perpendicularly from the top, the top of the loop is missing. The back of the pendant is smooth and slightly concave. The front of the pendant is decorated with a shield with three chevrons decorated with red (gules) enamel.
The harness pendant 25.15mm in length, 18.8mm wide and weighs 4.39 grams.

The coat of arms on the shield may be that of de Clare Earl of Gloucester Hertford.
