An incomplete copper alloy post-medieval (AD c.1575-c.1700) double loop asymmetrical buckle, missing its pin and buckle plate. Overall, the frame measures 24.2mm long, 15.9mm wide and 2.3mm thick. It weighs 1.82g. The frame has one rectangular loop (7.8mm long and 10.3mm wide internally) and one rounded or D-shaped loop (7.8mm long and 10.9mm wide internally). The rectangular loop has a trefoil shaped outer edge with a single lateral groove. The rounded end has an expanded outer edge and a single curved groove. There are traces of possible silvering.
