A large copper alloy medieval or post-medieval vessel leg, probably from a large vessel like a cauldron. The leg is roughly semi-circular in cross section. The reverse is flat and the outer, curved face has a slightly raised longitudinal ridges. At the base of the leg three 'toes' extend from the outer face. One of the outer ones is missing the end. The metal is greenish in colour and blackened in patches including the bottom of the foot. This form of foot is comparable to the that published in Butler et al. (2009, 4; ref. 4a) and could date from either the medieval or post-medieval periods.
