A Medieval silver cut half 'Tealby' (AD 1158-1180) cross and crosslets type penny of Henry II, AD 1154-1189. Both sides of the flan are very worn and this coin has been horribly struck. Type not further identified. North number 952-61.
Obverse legend is illegible. Obverse shows an unclear forward facing crowned bust with hand holding sceptre (only the hand and sceptre are just visible). Reverse legend is illegible. Reverse shows a short solid cross with a crosslet in each quarter. Die axis is uncertain. Weight is 0.52g, diameter is 17.4mm, thickness is 0.6mm.
