A fragment of cast lead alloy casting waste of uncertain date. The object is oval in plan with two conical jets, where the lead poured down into the mould, on one face. The opposite face is flat. The object has a powdery mid-white patina. Material such as this is difficult to date due to its undiagnosic nature but may indicate metal working in the area at some point.
