Copper alloy disc brooch that has a raised central boss with a very pronounced cast ring and dot centre. Below this the sides expand down and outwards in a gentle curve creating a low cone with concave walls, a raised rim would surround the brooch but this is mostly truncated. The reverse is concave, and there is the remains of the catch plate towards one edge. Date 2nd century.
