Blue-grey Flint with cortex borer, as kindly suggested by the finder. Flake with prominent bulb on its ventral side and with long flake removal scars struck from both ends which afford finger-and-thumb grip to use a point at one end. The point was defined by removal of a flake by striking the narrower end from one side. Suggested date: Early Neolithic, 4000-3500 BC.
